Armenia reports 1,589 fresh Covid-19 cases on Oct. 14

Armenia has confirmed 1,589 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 276,666 as of 11 a.m. Thursday, October 14, the Ministry of Health reports. Overall, 12,522 Covid-19 tests were conducted on October 12.

754 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 251,330.

The Covid-19 death toll has increased by 29 to 5,675. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,231 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.

Armenia now has 18,430  active cases. As many as 1,839,622 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
