French presidential candidate Eric Zemmour to visit Armenia

Far-right French presidential candidate Eric Zemmour is planning to visit Armenia as art of his pre-election campaign, Zemmour tweeted on Friday. According to the message, he has chosen Armenia as 'it is an ancient friend of France,' The trip is planned for December 11-14, 2021. 

To note, after weeks of speculation Mr Zemmour announced his candidacy in the 2022 French presidential election on Tuesday. He is challenging far-right figurehead Marine Le Pen for leadership of France's nationalist hard right.

The 63-year-old the former journalist and pundit is known for his controversial views on migrants and World War Two.
