Azerbaijani forces kidnap Armenian shepherd, talks underway to free him

Azerbaijani forces have kidnapped an Armenian shepherd and stole his flock of sheep in the Tegh community of Armenia’s Syunik Province, Artak Baghdagulyan, an employee of the village administration, told Sputnik Armenia on Thursday.

"Russian border guards have already been alerted about the incident and negotiations are underway for his release," Baghdagulyan said.

He noted that the incident took place between 4pm and 4:30pm, without providing further details.
