Light snow reported in some regions of Armenia

Light snow was reported in Armenia’s Talin, Ani, Artik, Ashotsk, Aparan, Aragats and Tumanyan regions as of Thursday morning.

Vardenyats Pass is closed for trailer trucks and difficult to pass for other vehicles, the Roads Department SNCO reported.

The road crews are carrying out cleaning works with chemical salt and sand to ensure road traffic safety.

Other major highways of Armenia are open to traffic, the source said.

Drivers are urged to use winter tires.
