Levon Sahakyan elected Central Bank board member

Levon Sahakyan has been elected as a new member of the Board of Armenia' Central Bank.

A total of 70 MPs took part in the secret vote on Friday.

Sahakyan received 69 votes in favor and only 1 against to be elected to the post, Chair of the National Assembly Counting Commission Narek Babayan announced.

He was nominated by the ruling Civil Contract faction.
