Salt production in Armenia drops in three months

Salt production in Armenia dropped by 27% to 6,480 tons in January-March 2022, according to figures from the Statistical Committee.

To compare, 8,872.3 tons of salt were produced in the country in the first three months of 2021.

Armenia manufactured a total of 32,667.4 tons of table salt last year, an increase of 16% from 2020.
