Temperatures to drop sharply across Armenia

The Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center reported a sharp cold snap across Armenia on Friday.

"In the evening, temperatures are expected to plummet due to the formation of a cold front over the territory of the country. Rains and thunderstorms are expected in most regions, while wet snow is predicted in high mountainous areas," it said.

Winds of 20-25 m/s and more are expected in Shirak, Aragatsotn, Armavir, Ararat and Vayots Dzor Provinces.
