No explosives found at Yerevan metro stations

Emergency workers have found no explosive devices after searching three stations of the Yerevan metro.

The searches were conducted at the Barekamutyun, Marshal Baghramyan and Republic Square stations, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.

Search operations continue at the remaining stations.

Authorities evacuated and subsequently closed all Yerevan metro stations in response to an anonymous bomb alert on Wednesday afternoon. All subway services have been suspended.
