Bread production down in Armenia

Armenia saw a decline in bread production volumes in the first nine months of this year, official statistics reveal.

A total of 195,210 tons of bread were made in the country in January-September 2022, down by 0.4% from a year ago, according to the latest data from the Statistical Committee seen by Panorama.am.

Meanwhile, flour production in Armenia rose by 23% to 132,226 tons in the nine months of this year. Pasta production also increased by 8.9% to 3,682 tons in the country.
