Armenian soldier wounded by Azerbaijani gunfire

An Armenian soldier has been wounded along the country’s border with Azerbaijan in a fresh ceasefire violation by Baku, the Defense Ministry of Armenia reported.

The serviceman, identified by his initials as R. A., was injured by Azerbaijani gunfire at his military post in the eastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border at around 1:20pm on Wednesday.

His injury was not life-threatening, the ministry said.
