Russian man wanted for military desertion found in Yerevan

Police officers in Yerevan have detained a young man wanted by Russia’s law enforcement authorities for military desertion.

The man, identified as Yuri T., 23, was found on Nar-Dos Street in central Yerevan and was taken to the Marash Police Department on Friday, the police said in a statement.

The Russian authorities and the Armenian Prosecutor’s Office were reported about the capture of the fugitive.
