Armenia to participate in qualifying round of Basketball World Cup 2027

The Armenian Basketball Federation has submitted a bid to participate in the qualifying round of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027.

The draw for the qualifiers will be held in Munich on August 8, the Basketball Federation said on Friday.

The qualifiers will begin in February 2024. The second round of qualifiers is slated for June 2025.

Qatar will host the 2027 edition of the men's FIBA Basketball World Cup.
