Fallen soldier's father arrested in Yerevan

Garik Galeyan, whose son Mkhitar was killed in the 2020 Artsakh war, has been arrested in Yerevan, Armenian Investigative Committee spokesman Gor Abrahamyan confirmed to Panorama.am on Friday.

“An official statement will be issued shortly,” he said, without further elaborating.

His lawyer Vahan Hovhannisyan refused to provide any details when contacted by Panorama.am.

"I can't provide any information at the moment," the lawyer noted.
