Artsakh MP Artur Harutyunyan steps down

Artsakh MP Artur Harutyunyan, head of the Free Homeland-UCA faction, has submitted resignation, the parliament speaker revealed on Monday.

Under the Artsakh parliament statute, he will cease to be a member of the National Assembly if he does not withdraw his resignation within a week.

Speaker David Ishkhanyan cited the legal provision in a short statement announcing Harutyunyan's resignation.
