Azerbaijani forces attempt to advance into Artsakh, military says

Azerbaijan continues the massive attack along the entire line of contact with Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), its Defense Ministry said on Tuesday.

"The Azerbaijani armed forces are attempting to advance into Artsakh," it said. "The Defense Army is taking defensive measures."

Earlier on Tuesday, Artsakh Ombudsman Gegham Stepanyan reported casualties among Armenian civilians, including children, in the wake of Azerbaijani shelling.

Azerbaijan launched a large-scale offensive against Artsakh on Tuesday afternoon after falsely accusing Artsakh defense forces of "terrorism".
