Parents of fallen Armenian soldier welcome baby girl

The parents of Ashot Vardapetyan, an Armenian soldier who was killed in the 2020 Artsakh war, have welcomed a baby girl.

The baby, named Angelina, was born in the Ijevan Medical Center, the Tavush administration reported on Tuesday.

Ashot Vardapetyan was killed on the Artsakh frontline on 26 October 2020. He was posthumously awarded the Combat Service and Combat Cross medals.
