Artsakh leader didn't make political assessments at meeting in Yerevan: Info Center

The Artsakh Info Center has dismissed media reports that Artsakh Republic President Samvel Shahramanyan gave “clear political assessments” regarding the exodus of Armenians from Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) during an enlarged meeting held in Yerevan.

“The meeting mainly focused on efforts to address the social problems of the displaced people, with the ultimate goal of meeting their basic needs and the enrollment of students in educational institutions as soon as possible,” the Info Center said in a statement on Tuesday.

“We urge some media outlets and social media users to refrain from disseminating false information and serving the interests of those pursuing other goals,” it added.
