Opposition MP Armen Charchyan steps down, his replacement named

Opposition Hayastan faction MP Armen Charchyan has resigned his parliament seat.

Psychologist Mihrdat Madatyan has been named his replacement.

Speaking to Panorama.am on Monday, Madatyan expressed his commitment to Hayastan's mission to oust the current Armenian leadership and pledged to make every effort to that end.

“I believe we will definitely succeed,” he said.
