Child dies of measles in Armenia

A child has died from measles in Armenia, Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan told reporters on Wednesday.

She said the child had underlying health conditions and developed complications from the disease.

The minister urged parents to get their children vaccinated in due time.

“If a child is infected, it could be life-threatening for elderly people in the family,” she warned.
