Patrol police fine Armenian mayors for traffic violations

Officers from the patrol police have recently identified and fined a group of unruly drivers in Armenia’s Syunik Province, including officials, Shamshyan.com reports.

Goris Mayor Arush Arushanyan, Kapan Mayor Gevorg Parsyan and Meghri Mayor Bagrat Zakaryan were brought to administrative liability for violations of road traffic rules.

The report says the news about penalties spread quickly and the number of traffic violations in the province declined.
