Armenian soldier wounded by Azeri fire successfully undergoes surgery

The Armenian soldier wounded by Azerbaijani fire last week has successfully undergone surgery, the Defense Ministry reports.

The soldier, identified as E.H., suffered a gunshot wound after a shot fired by the Azerbaijani military against an Armenian combat outpost near the village of Paruyr Sevak on Saturday.

“His health condition is assessed as stable. The soldier remains under the supervision of the medical staff,” Defense Ministry spokesman Aram Torosyan told Panorama.am on Monday.
