Armenia remains CSTO ally, head says

Armenia has been and remains an ally of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov said on Monday, downplaying the country’s refusal to attend last week’s summit of the Moscow-led security bloc in Minsk.

"In my opinion, it makes no sense to jump to any conclusions from this situation [the absence of Armenia's delegation]. Armenia has been and remains our ally. This, I think, says it all," he told TASS.
