Armenia outscore Albania at Basketball World Cup pre-qualifiers

Armenia outscored Albania 84-79 at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 pre-qualifiers on Sunday.

The game was held at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex in Yerevan.

They nailed 24 points in the first and then the second frames to take a 48-42 halftime advantage.

Albania replied with a narrow 17-14 run in the third quarter, whilst Armenia finished the game with a 22-20 rally.

The Armenian team is set to face Austria on November 24.
