Vardan Voskanyan: Baku regime accused of collusion with Israel against Iran

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s regime has been accused of collusion with Israel against Iran, says Vardan Voskanyan, a Yerevan-based expert on Iran.

“Iranian Telegram channels have been pouring out accusations against Azerbaijan for several days now,” he posted on Telegram on Thursday.

“In the light of Israel's airstrikes on the Iranian Consulate in Damascus, the Baku barbaric regime is seen at least as colluding with the Netanyahu government against Iran.

“This is indirectly evidenced by Baku’s failure to condemn the attack on the Iranian diplomatic mission in yet another indication of its anti-Iranian stance," Voskanyan added.
