Armenia among world's largest diamond exporters

Armenia has been listed among the world’s top diamond exporters, economist Suren Parsyan reports.

In 2023, India was the largest exporter of diamonds worldwide, amounting to a total value of $24.1 billion.

The United Arab Emirates ranked second with $19.8 billion, while the U.S. came third with $16.8 billion.

“Remarkably, Armenia was the 17th largest diamond exporter in the world in 2023 due to the re-export of diamonds,” Parsyan wrote on Facebook on Saturday.
