Cyclone to bring rain, thunderstorms to most parts of Armenia

An active cyclone from the Black Sea region will make landfall in Armenia on Friday evening, the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center reports.

The cyclone is expected to deliver rain and thunderstorms to most parts of Armenia tonight and in the next few days.

Downpours and hail are likely in some areas, including the capital Yerevan.

Temperatures are set to drop by 6-10C over the weekend.
