Armenian defense minister meets with Macron's military adviser

Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan on Wednesday held a meeting with General Fabien Mandon, French President Emmanuel Macron's military adviser.

During the meeting, they discussed the ongoing cooperation between Armenia and France in the field of defence, as well as prospective programs, the Armenian Defense Ministry reported.

"The Minister of Defense provided an update on the reforms within the Armenian Armed Forces and the level of support of France in this context," the ministry said in a statement.

Additionally, issues related to regional and international security were addressed.
