Azerbaijan continues Artsakh civilian's sham trial

An Azerbaijani district court on Friday continued the sham trial of 62-year-old Artsakh civilian Rashid Beglaryan falsely accused of "war crimes".

Beglaryan was arrested by Azerbaijan’s border guards after straying into an Azerbaijani-held territory near the Artsakh village of Aghavno on August 1, 2023.

The man has been charged with involvement in the so-called “Khojaly massacre” and other crimes.
