More chickenpox cases reported in Armenia

Chickenpox cases remain high in Armenia, according to latest data from the Statistical Committee.

A total of 2,377 cases of chickenpox were reported in the country in June alone.

249 of the reported cases occurred among children aged 0-2 years, while 1,045 cases were confirmed among children aged 3-6 years.

A surge in chickenpox is expected after the summer holidays in the country.

As many as 14,948 cases of chickenpox have been recorded in Armenia this year.
