Paris Olympics: Weightlifter Andranik Karapetyan finishes 7th

Armenia’s Andranik Karapetyan finished seventh in the men's 89kg weightlifting at the Paris 2024 Olympics on Friday.

Karapetyan, a world bronze medalist and European champion, lifted a total of 370kg (170kg in the snatch and 200kg in the clean and jerk).

Two other Armenian super heavyweights will begin chase for Olympic medals on Saturday.
