Armenian government OKs compensation for flood-damaged vehicles

The Armenian government on Thursday approved compensation for vehicles affected by heavy flooding in Lori and Tavush Provinces in May.

The local authorities reported 193 vehicles damaged or missing in the wake of floods.

At the cabinet meeting, Deputy Interior Minister Arpine Sargsyan said the vehicle owners could apply for compensation after August 26.

She assured that the damage would be fully compensated.
