Chess Olympiad: Armenian men's team scores victory in 6th round

The 6th round of the 45th FIDE Chess Olympiad was held on Monday.

The Armenian national men's team beat the team of the Philippines with a score of 2.5-1.5, the Armenian Chess Federation reported.

GM Shant Sargsyan and GM Robert Hovhannisyan won their games.

In the first three rounds, the Armenian men's team beat the Maltese team (4-0), the Andorran team (3-1) and the Brazilian team (3-1), lost to the Chinese team (1.5-2.5) in the fourth round, and beat the Swedish team in the fifth round (2.5-1.5).
