The protest campaign aimed at toppling Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and stopping his territorial concessions to Azerbaijan is entering a new stage on October 2, its leader, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, said on Tuesday.
“It’s a phase of victory and light heralding our persistent, unrelenting and consistent struggle,” he said in a Facebook live video.
Galstanyan stated that the next rally of the Holy Struggle movement in Yerevan’s Republic Square on October 2 will mark the start of renewed efforts for regime change in the country. He also hinted at a change of protest tactics.
“This movement is not constrained by party ideology, this is a struggle of all those who love their homeland regardless of their differences,” the protest leader said.
Galstanyan highlighted that “the removal of evil” remains his main goal.
