Armenian authorities probing soldier's death

The Armenian law-enforcement authorities are probing the death of soldier Aghasi Dallakyan.

The serviceman was found dead with gunshot wounds at a military base on Sunday morning.

In a statement on Monday, the Investigative Committee said that a criminal case had been launched into the incident under Article 155.1 of Armenia’s Criminal Code.

A preliminary investigation is underway to fully disclose the circumstances of his death.
