Pashinyan names pick for new tax chief

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has named Eduard Hakobyan as his pick for the tax and customs chief.

"Eduard Hakobyan, who currently serves as Deputy Minister of Finance, will be appointed Chairman of the State Revenue Committee,” Pashinyan said in a social media post on Tuesday.

He is replacing Rustam Badasyan who stepped down on November 18.
