Aragatsotn governor's assistant arrested for drug possession

The assistant of the Aragatsotn Province governor, Armen Markosyan, has been arrested for drug possession, Shamshyan.com reported.

Police officers found a large amount of marijuana during a search of his car on the Ashtarak-Agarak roadway on Monday.

The case could be forwarded to Armenia's Investigative Committee for further probe.
