Armenian, Lithuanian defense chiefs outline new areas for cooperation

Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan on Saturday met with Lithuania's Minister of National Defence Dovilė Šakalienė.

The ministers reviewed the progress of bilateral cooperation and identified new areas for cooperation, the Armenian Defense Ministry reported.

"Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation bilaterally and within NATO and EU formats," it said.
