Yerevan Conservatory student wins top prize at online music competition

Levon Almasyan, a third-year student of Yerevan State Conservatory, has won the top prize at the 11th edition of the international online music competition Nouvelles Étoiles.

The Conservatory reported on Wednesday that Almasyan performed Sergei Rachmaninoff’s "Aleko's Cavatina" from the opera Aleko and an aria from Armen Tigranyan’s opera David Bek, with Anna Jalladyan accompanying on the piano.
