Controversial blogger Vardan Ghukasyan reportedly detained by ICE in Las Vegas

The DOK party on Thursday released a statement detailing the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of its founding president, Vardan Ghukasyan. According to the statement, Ghukasyan’s whereabouts have been unknown since February 21. Today, his supporters are gathering to protest in front of the U.S. Embassy, demanding answers about his situation.

Hetq has since discovered that Ghukasyan is currently being held at the Henderson Detention Center in Las Vegas.

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) website features an online detainee locator system, which allows individuals to search for detained persons using their personal information. It was through this system that Hetq confirmed Ghukasyan’s detention.
