Archbishop insists on removal of Pashinyan's government

Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, the leader of the Holy Struggle movement, insists on the removal of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s government.

“The ouster of the current government of evil is a necessity, so we will make it happen by all possible means,” he said in a Facebook live video on Saturday.

Galstanyan recalled that he began leading protests against the Armenian government’s unilateral land concessions to Azerbaijan in March 2024.

“I made a personal decision to take to the streets because I could no longer tolerate this reality," he said."I had to take action and give my all – my efforts, my life – to make a change."

“We are engaged in a liberation struggle and there can be no outcome other than victory,” the archbishop added.
