EuroAlliance rules out coalition in Gyumri

EuroAlliance will not form a coalition with any political force running in the municipal elections in Gyumri, Armenia's second-largest city, its mayoral candidate, Levon Barseghyan, announced.

In recent days, there have been frequent claims that the political bloc serves the interests of the ruling Civil Contract party and plans to team up with it after the elections.

“We believe our election program is the best. For various reasons, we will not form a coalition with any political force. We are not engaging in negotiations where votes are exchanged for positions, it will never happen. This is our final response to all such questions,” Barseghyan stated on Wednesday.
