A magnitude 3․1 earthquake struck near Armenia's Syunik Province early on Friday morning.
The quake was recorded 16 km northeast of the town of Kapan and at a depth of 10 km, the Rescue Service of the Armenian Interior Ministry reported.
The quake measured 4 on the MSK scale at the epicenter.
Tremors ranging from 2 to 3 points were felt in Kapan.
