Azerbaijan continues ceasefire violations along Armenia border, MP warns

For the third week in a row, Azerbaijan has been violating the ceasefire along the border with Armenia, terrorizing residents of border villages, warns MP Tigran Abrahamyan of the opposition Pativ Unem faction.

In a social media post on Tuesday, Abrahamyan pointed to ongoing Azerbaijani provocations at the Tavush and Syunik border sections.

"Their geography is gradually expanding and shooting incidents are becoming more frequent," he wrote.

Abrahamyan also criticized the international community's silence over the Azerbaijani provocations.

"Not a single international organization or country promoting the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process or welcoming the conclusion of talks on the 'draft peace agreement' has responded seriously to Azerbaijan’s brazen actions," the MP said.

"Tensions along the border are consistently escalating. The growing uncertainty and unpredictability of the situation are becoming dominant," Abrahamyan added.
