Airfare from Russia to Armenia up by 20%

The cost of air tickets from Russia to Armenia has increased by 20%, Profi.Travel said, citing data from the Fun&Sun travel agency.

The company reported a surge in demand for travel packages to Armenia during the upcoming May holidays compared to the same period in 2024. The growing interest is driven by several factors, incluidng the absence of a language barrier, the ease of entry with just a Russian passport and a wide range of tours (culinary, sightseeing and historical).

On average, Russian tourists spend five days in Armenia, with package tours costing around 65,000 rubles per person.
