Armenian security chief addresses border situation

At a press briefing on Thursday, Secretary of the Armenian Security Council Armen Grigoryan addressed circulating reports regarding the situation along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, emphasizing that any significant developments will be officially communicated by the Defense Ministry.

Grigoryan highlighted that the Defense Ministry regularly provides updates on the border situation while denying false reports disseminated by Azerbaijan. He reiterated Armenia’s longstanding call for the creation of a mechanism to investigate border incidents.

"The public will be informed of all developments concerning Armenia's security," Grigoryan assured.

He also refuted reports of Azerbaijani military build-up along the border with Armenia.
