Opposition leader urges Pashinyan to name 'a single concession' made by Azerbaijan

At Thursday’s parliamentary debates on the implementation of the Armenian government’s 2021-2026 action plan in 2024, Seyran Ohanyan, the leader of the opposition Hayastan faction, strongly criticized Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s handling of the peace process with Azerbaijan.

“Azerbaijan’s proposals are being fulfilled, yet their demands keep growing. I believe in your closing remarks you should at least name a single concession made by Azerbaijan throughout the peace deal negotiations,” Ohanyan said, addressing the premier.

He further criticized the government's readiness to sign a peace agreement with Azerbaijan simultaneously with the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group and the constitutional changes demanded by Baku.

“These developments not only erase Artsakh’s identity, but also put Armenia's existence at risk,” Ohanyan warned.
