Income declarations to be accepted starting March 2, MP says

Citizens in Armenia will be able to submit their income declarations starting March 2, ruling party MP Babken Tunyan announced at a special session of the National Assembly on Monday.

 

According to proposed amendments to the Tax Code, declarations for 2024 income must be submitted by November 1, 2025. From 2027 onward, the deadline will shift to July 1 annually.

 

While declarations can be filled out between January 1 and May 1, Tunyan explained that submissions will only be accepted from March 2. This delay allows the state to gather necessary data from employers and tax agents to enable more automated and accurate pre-filled forms.

 

Tunyan also noted that around 35,000 people have already submitted their declarations, reporting issues with obtaining national ID cards.
