Czech envoy commemorates Armenian Genocide anniversary

Czech Ambassador to Armenia Petr Piruncik marked the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide on April 24.

Piruncik laid a wreath at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex in Yerevan to pay tribute to the innocent victims of the genocide perpetrated by the Ottoman Empire.

 "Today, we commemorate the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide," the Czech diplomat wrote on Facebook.

"Eight years ago, on 25 April 2017, the Czech Parliament officially recognized the Armenian Genocide," he added.
