Georgian president to pay official visit to Armenia

Georgian President Mikheil Ghavelashvili will arrive in Yerevan on an official visit on Monday, accompanied by a delegation. He will be welcomed at Zvartnots International Airport by Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan, 1TV reported, citing the Georgian presidential office.

During the visit, Ghavelashvili is expected to meet with Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan at the Presidential Palace for both private and expanded-format talks, followed by a joint press statement. He is also scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.

The Georgian delegation includes Chief of Staff Ketevan Kvinikadze, Deputy Foreign Minister Lasha Darsalia, First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Giorgi Volski, MPs Samvel Manukyan and Smbat Kyureghyan and Foreign Affairs Advisor Luka Ekhvaia.
