Armenia's Artur Avetisyan wins gold at FIG World Cup

Armenia's Artur Avetisyan has clinched a gold medal at the 6th stage of the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup held in Cairo, Egypt, the Armenian Gymnastics Federation reported.

Competing in the rings final, Avetisyan scored 14.466 points, securing his first gold medal at the 2025 World Cup series. He had achieved the same score in the qualification round, advancing to the final in first place.

Fellow Armenian gymnast and two-time European silver medalist Vahagn Davtyan also competed in the rings final, finishing seventh with a score of 13.133 points.
